The Prep started its Football Summer Training Sessions by Visiting the University of Alabama. For both football and for Tornado Relief as part of the 2011 Service Mission. 29 Members of the Football Team participated in the Trip which included visiting with Coach Nick Saban as the Prep Donated funds and time to the relief efforts in Alabama.
After Working long hard days the PREP then played 2 games in 7 on 7 competions against Local Alabama High School Football teams . Defeating Holt High School 13 to 7 and losing to NorthRidge High School 13 to 12.

Contributing to Tornado Relief in Alabama
Coach Infante and the 2011 PREP Football Team present PREP Donation to Alabama Head Football Coach Nick Saban. Coach Saban accpeted the donations that were gathered by the PREP in efforts to help those affected by the Tornado that hit Alabam months before.

Prep Football goes to Camp at Boston College. For the first time ever PREP Football took 45 Members if its team to the Boston College Football Camp in June. Along with the Team the entire coaching Staff was in attendance. The team practiced during the day and then competed in 7 on 7 Passing Scrimages during the Evening hours. PREP had a great showing at the Tournament games Losing in the FINAL Championship game to a team of CAMP Participants that were a grouping of all STARS.
The PREP Lineman also participated in their own Championship Game as the lineman competed in the FINALs of their own Competition winning in the final Contest and being crowned Camp Champions.
Rutgers 7 on 7 Tournament and the PREP
For the first time ever the PREP participated in the Rutgers 7 on 7 Tournament playing in one of the harder brackets in the tournament the Prep was able to make it to the Sweet 16 round of schools of over 200 that participated in the trounament. Unfortuntaley the PREP lost in the semi - final Round to a very talented East Orange New Jersey school in Over time 17 to 16.
West Chester University 7 on 7. On Sunday the PREP Frosh and JV Teams were on the move again. As part of the Development of the younger players on the squad Coach Infante had the incoming Frosh and JV players participate in a Varsity 7 on 7 Tournament. The PREP Underclassmen held their own against much older and experience competition actually winning 2 of the 5 games thay played in as a team. As the day wore on the squad of mixed underclassmen began to jell and play better together and showed the promise of what is to come for PREP football.

The event will begin Friday afternoon (Sept. 9) with two games. The first will between long-time rivals between Bethesda (Md.) Landon and Forestville (Md.) Bishop McNamara. It will be followed by Baltimore (Md.) Calvert Hall playing Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha.
The Marines game is next with a local school, Annapolis (Md.) Christian, facing Bear (Del.) Red Lion Christian.
The third game, the Navy game, will feature a match-up of teams on the mend as Philadelphia (Pa.) St. Joseph's Prep takes on Washington (D.C.) Gonzaga.
Wrapping up the event, in the Army game, will be two teams in competition for placement in the RivalsHigh 100: Baltimore (Md.) Gilman and Olney (Md.) Good Counsel.
